ADVOCATE PHOTOGRAPHER NEEDED!

The Advocate editorial staff is looking for a special person to join the editorial team as our photographer.  We seek someone who has a passion for photography, or at least enjoys taking photos and knows how to take them well!  You should have your own digital camera, and you should have some facility with downloading and transmitting the images for publication.  There is also a staff camera for use if you do not have your own camera, although that is preferred.   As Advocate photographer, your name will be listed along with current editorial staff on each issue.  As Advocate photographer you will document all FBA scheduled CLE programs, annual meeting, YLD holiday cocktail party, annual judges’ reception, and other events that are planned for the year.  (In most cases, the photographer would not have to stay at the event until the very end). This is an excellent opportunity to become more involved with the New Orleans Chapter of the FBA, and to interact with other members.

Events already on the calendar to be photographed include:

May 14, 2009 - Seventeenth Annual Judge Alvin B. Rubin Symposium

June 24, 20009 - Morning at the Federal Courthouse for Law Clerks

June 26, 2009 - A Federal Roundtable Discussion

September 10, 2009 - Mediation Workshop Seminar

Please let us know, if you are interested or if you need additional information. You may contact Chris Alfieri, Advocate Editor, at (504)593-4204 or via e-mail at cjalfieri@christovich.com, or Camille Zeller at (504) 589-7990 or via e-mail, fbano@bellsouth.net.
